This is a collection of hyperlinks to current news articles that deal with economic concepts (labeled) for my current and former students. The opinions and conclusions are expressly those of the authors, not necessarily mine. I have not commented on these articles because I want my students to have a chance to do so in their homework assignments. I always enjoy hearing what they have to say when they have thought through and provided evidence for their arguments.

When I see stories like this, and the OS problems, it makes me wonder why the Apple fans keep lining up to pay a lot of money for the latest and greatest phone in the world. It seems to me that they are just playing catch up with the other phone makers, and are no longer the cutting edge of technology. They are missing the vision that Steve Jobs had, and I am not sure of what will happen to their company if they continue on their present path considering the premium prices you have to pay for their products. Only time will tell.
ReplyDeleteSamsung and others seem to be developing similar products that are less expensive (although some devoted Apple fans will never admit that they are substitute products!).
